Back Again...

Hey guys,

      I don't really have an excuse for the massive gap without posting and I apologise. I felt like I didn't really have that much to talk about but just now I just want to talk.

Confidence

      2014 was a great year, still hasn't beaten 2012, but you know that's fine. This year was a big journey, its taken me a while but my confidence has grown so much this year. From just buying something out of the ordinary to talking to lots of new people. It has been a big step regarding my confidence. So much so that I have decided to dye my hair and wear a leather jacket, it may sound like nothing but this is something I would never have dreamt of doing this time last year. My friends have grown up a lot this year, I was always the tall, responsible one, but now they are all catching up. They are all taller than me now. I guess its probably better because I am not the most independent character and having friends that can look out for you is great. I have built a stronger relationship with my best friend, through spending time together, we spend most Sundays at my house. We usually study for all of 2 hours then go do something more fun, like sledging. This year was supposed to my year but I did spend most of it looking out for my friends and the community. Volunteering is so rewarding, going above and beyond to make a difference improves yourself and your outlook on life. I even got a job as a receptionist this year! Someone who had so little confidence now has to talk to everyone and anyone what are the chances! I have used this quote as my lockscreen so I am reminded everyday to be myself.

All in all this year has been exceptional and I do think I met my resolution to be more confident. This blog may be used more this year guys but I'm going to post whatever I feel like if I don't get requests.
